One problem, Mommy

The kids have gone through their share of verbal tics, and the current one is Daniel's insistence on starting statements with the phrase "one problem, Mommy".

"One problem, Mommy, I can't find my shoes."

"One problem, Mommy, the TV is not on."

"One problem, Mommy, I'm thirsty."

None of these really seem like problems to me...I guess it's all about perspective.

In a new twist, Max has started saying, "Um, Mommy, we've got a situation here..."

Where do they learn these things?
