Zoo Lights

Winter Break started off with an outing to Zoo Lights with Jeweletta.  It was COLD, so we were bundled up and wearing hats, but still shivered a good deal.  Zoo Lights has the playground open, along with some carnival type booths and some holiday activities.

Caroline's Dancing Dress

In 2009, I brought a black and red flamenco dress back from Spain for our then 4-year old friend Anjali. I thought, perhaps, Anjali would pass this dress down to Caroline, but it turns out it still fits her (it's stretchy and she's a string bean).  So when Grandma went to Barcelona this Winter, she went with an assignment to get a dress for Caroline.  And to put icing on that cake, she got her shoes too!

Chanukah House!

I was in my thirties before I ever made my first Gingerbread House, so when I saw that Manischewitz had put out a Chanukah House kit, I jumped on it for the kids.  They were beyond excited to help build it and then decorate it.  And I fully embraced decorating it with a 4-year old aesthetic, since if I'd done it myself it probably would've been even messier!

And then Daddy came and took the kids out to get their picture taken with Santa (and visit with Rudolph at Santa's workshop).
