Music al Fresco

One day, Caroline got it in her head that she wanted to go play musical instruments.  I couldn't think of any place where we could do that, so I put out the question on Facebook and lo and behold I was reminded that the San Francisco Botanical Gardens were hosting PIANOS!  That's right - pianos, just out there in the wild for the public to play.  So off we went, got an amazing parking space right across the street from the entrance, and then let the kids be in charge of setting our course for "exploring".  We set out to find all the pianos and, on occasion, played some of them.  I'm not entirely sure that the rest of the public appreciated our tinklings of the ivories, but most folks thought we were cute, so there's that at least.

Off to explore

A little six-handed harmony (with assists from the Paw Patrol and SuperHeroes)

Caroline took off to climb a tree with a group of "big girls".  It was both impressive and terrifying that she did it entirely on her own.
