Let's Go, Oakland (Clap, Clap, ClapClapClap)

This year, the Rockies came into town for a whole week, playing three games against the Giants and then going across the Bay for three games against the A's.  Since the kids had already seen them take on the Giants in April, we went to see a day game in Oakland.

The kids have grown out of the A's shirts they had, so they chose Ninja Turtle shirts and Caroline dug out a pretty yellow top so they could represent the Green and Gold.  And, of course, we were able to pull out and re-purpose our USF pom pons too!

The Rockies fell to the lowly A's that day, but what was more notable was that the kids made it through a full 9-inning game without having to visit a fan lot or cable car or slide.  They stayed perfectly entertained eating popcorn and laughing and using Mommy as a napkin!

We can't all look great, right?
