Doing "shows" with Anjali and Ajay

On the Saturday of July 4th weekend, we went down to visit with our friends Anjali and Ajay (and their mommy and daddy, of course).  Anjali is nearly 8 now and in full "let's put on a show!" mode.  She took charge of the Salvateenies as her theater troupe and set about getting them costumed.  The first show took place in her bedroom (video hopefully coming soon) and the next installment came in the living room.

Each child was prompted to say, "Hello, my name is … and this is my song/dance."  First came Daniel in cowboy attire and Max as a construction worker - no Indian or weatherman was available to complete the YMCA theme, then Caroline in a Hello Kitty tutu.  Later, the boys switched costumes and Caroline got to dress up as Beauty and the Beast's Belle (she now, of course, wants her own Belle dress).

Pizza break!
Mommy messed up the sleeves - sorry!

(now Daniel's the construction worker and Max is the cowboy)

With the 49ers logo, Max is giving Sourdough Sam a run for his money.

Hilariously, in the weeks since the show, Caroline has entirely adopted Anjali's mannerisms and desire to put on a show!
