Latke Superstorm

Our friends the Sugermans have been very nice to invite us, along with the Salvateenies, to their annual Latke party for Chanukah.  Last year, the kids were just walking and got into everything within hands' reach.  This year they were able to explore more of the house, but were actually considerably better behaved.  And it helps that the hosts welcomed their typically toddler behavior and didn't worry about things getting messed up. (whew!)

They started their tour of the house by running back to the master bedroom.

Max practiced his "muscle arms" in the mirror

He liked checking out the guitars
(and the scissors on the bedside table)
And looking out the window

Caroline made herself at home
Then we took over the living room and the party mix on the coffee table became best toy we could have hoped for (and far more interesting than the dreidl we tried to get them to play with).

And then, like magic, at 8:25 they decided to turn into pumpkins ... whiny pumpkins who wanted to go home and go to bed!
