Anahita's Birthday at Children's Playground

Cousin Anahita turned three and had a cousins party at Children's Playground in Golden Gate Park.  Somehow, I neglected to get a picture of everyone together!  Perhaps because the kids almost immediately answered the siren songs of the carousel and cement slides!

They also had fun exploring the "high country" with Uncle - what started as a simple game of "hide and seek" in the trees next to a grassy area turned into an expedition higher and higher up the steep hill in the trees and ended with Uncle needing to call in reinforcements to watch the kids at the bottom while he helped the ones at the top slip-slide down the dusty hill.

And then it was back to the concrete slides again!

As you can see, Caroline really got the hang of the slide more than her brothers.  Max always seemed to get stuck at the bump, and Daniel, though he did brave the stairs all the way up, decided that he couldn't come down. The one time he did, he made Uncle go down and carry him on his lap.  Too bad I didn't get a picture of that!

They came home completely covered in filth, but having had a good day.
